The Kings Langley Village Fair In Blacktown Fun For All The Family
Presented by the Lions Club of Kings Langley. The fair is only one of many community festivals that are held across Blacktown City every year, this year it is on Sunday 21st of October. Both residents and visitors from away can come to any of these festivals and enjoy many different activities for free. Each festival holds arts and crafts activities, sells food, holds performances and other forms of entertainment all day long, and has an information booth to guide you on your way.
Alan Pendleton, the Mayor of Blacktown, has said that these festivals give local communities a good opportunity to come together and celebrate their roots and the cultural diversity that make them unique and alive. This is why Blacktown is so committed to developing and promoting its local festivals.
Other local community festivals located in Blacktown at this time of year: The Woodcroft Lake Festival on the 24th of September at Woodcroft Lake. For enquiries call Lucas on 9676 6637.
The Willmot Festival, on the 15th of October, is held in Peter Van Hasselt Park, on Palmyra Avenue, Willmot. If you have any questions call the festival organizers on 9675 8880. The Blacktown City Council encourages all of the community to get out there and attend all of the festivals that Blacktown has to offer. Go out and see for yourself all the diverse talents and entertainment that our communities have to offer. Get to know the neighbours. Get to know the other communities that make up Blacktown.
