Pri­vacy Act of 1988

The Eld­ers Real Estate Seven Hills respects the pri­vacy of our cli­ents. We fol­low the prin­cipals set forth in the Pri­vacy Act 1988. The pre­clin­ical reg­u­late how client’s per­sonal inform­a­tion is col­lec­ted, stored, and used. Inform­a­tion of cur­rent or former employ­ees or employ­ment records are not covered by this pri­vacy act.

Vendors/Prospective Vendors and Pro­spect­ive Purchasers

All inform­a­tion col­lec­ted for our vendors or poten­tial vendors are used to per­form oblig­a­tions under the con­tract we have with said vendors. We also use this inform­a­tion to provide mar­ket apprais­als to pro­spect­ive vendors. We use inform­a­tion from vendors to inform them of upcom­ing prop­erty sales. Per­sonal inform­a­tion is col­lec­ted dur­ing open house inspec­tions. This inform­a­tion will also be used for secur­ity pur­poses. We will also use per­sonal inform­a­tion to inform vendors of upcom­ing prop­er­ties for sale that may be of interest to them.

We also use this inform­a­tion for dir­ect mar­ket­ing pur­poses and to seek poten­tial cli­ents. This is done through pro­mo­tional ser­vices and activ­it­ies of the real estate agent. The parties agree to the use of inform­a­tion for these pur­poses unless they state differently.

We may give this inform­a­tion to other parties such as media organ­iz­a­tion, inter­net vendors, exist­ing cli­ents of the agent, poten­tial cli­ents of the agent, parties that will be con­duct­ing eval­u­ations of the prop­erty such as pest and build­ing inspect­ors, the owner’s cor­por­a­tions, gov­ern­ment bod­ies, fin­an­cial insti­tu­tions, and other third parties that need this inform­a­tion as required by the law. This may also include third party ads.

Land­lords and Pro­spect­ive Landlords

We use the inform­a­tion that is col­lec­ted for cur­rent and pro­spect­ive land­lords to per­form our oblig­a­tions and ser­vices for that that is entered in the agree­ment. We also use this inform­a­tion for mar­ket appraisal pur­poses.
This inform­a­tion may also be used for mar­ket­ing pur­poses and for the agent to seek out poten­tial cli­ents. When sign­ing the agree­ment the parties con­sent to the use of the their inform­a­tion unless they state dif­fer­ently. All inform­a­tion col­lec­ted is used for these pur­poses by agents and will be used for busi­ness purposes.
