Family, Community, Entertainment Equals Kings Langley Christmas Carols
The Kings Langley Christmas Carols (KLCC) is a fun filled evening bringing the community of Kings Langley and surrounds together to enjoy a night of Christmas Carols in Pearce Reserve, Kings Langley, while fundraising for the Make-A-Wish foundation.
KLCC was first held last year, “it was a great success” says Renay Young, Event Organiser, “as it was our first year we did not know how many people would support the evening, but we knew we had a strong community, and it showed, over 2000 people came to the carols and we raised over $5000 for The Children’s Hospital at Westmead” says Renay.
This year Kings Langley Christmas carols hopes to raise over $5000 for the Make-A-Wish foundation.
The carols will be held on Friday, 21 December 2012, at Pearce Reserve, Kings Langley.
- Gates will open at 5.00pm, jumping castles
- Face painting will be available from then and a sausage sizzle from 5.30pm.
- Live Music will be played from 6.00pm
- Christmas Carols from 7.30pm
- The night would not be complete without a visit from Santa during the evening.
- A gold coin donation would be appreciated as all proceeds raised go to the Make-A-Wish foundation.
“We could not hold this event without the tremendous support from the Kings Langley Cricket Club Elders Kings Langley and the Kings Langley Lions Club” says Renay, “Local business is also supporting us in the form of sponsorship, and it is great to see such generosity from our local community”.
