Len Robinson said “the Blacktown City Festival, Streets Alive and Parade Day make up one of the largest community celebrations in western Sydney.”

It draws in amazing crowds full of community spirit, and we invite everyone to join,” Cr Robinson said.

There was plenty to buy with local handcrafted jewellery and lots of show bags with balloons.

The Collective who was on 2012 X-Factor series made the crowd go wild and people come from near and far to see them.

All in all Streets Alive is set to just get bigger and bigger as Blacktown sets its sights on building their way into a fully-fledged city.
